Paypal are a disgrace we use them for protection when buying goods on-line. They support the China scams to no end. They refuse to refund money when they know that us their client has been scammed by some one using their services. They come up with excuse after excuse whilst protecting the Chinese scam companies. Stay away from PayPal. We must all stick together to stop PayPal from lying and cheating their clients ie us. They are crooks and should be held accountable
I would never used this app again they take for ever to help you with a case. You give all your evidence all the information they needed and they still don't help you with the problem. After 3 months trying to solve my case I receive a email that the case was close because they don't have enough information, when I send pictures emails back and forth. Don't waist your time and money. I order a bike and this is what I received. (Mask)

THE WORST COMPANY EVER! AVOID AT ALL ! USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. IF YOU WAIT TO GET PAID BY PAYPAL FORGET IT MATE THEY WILL KEEP THE MONEY ON THE SYSTEM AS MORE AS POSSIBLE TO USE YOUR FUNDS. AVVOOOIID
worst platform ever, im pretty sure it'll illegal to forcibly not allowing people to close their account by creating a loophole where you can't do this unless you speak to customer service, and speaking to customer service is impossible. what a scam.
I used PayPal for the first time to pay the photographer for my wedding. The initial amount I sent her was charged a $13 fee incorrectly, so she refunded it to me one day later and I resent it. I have still not received my refund 2 weeks later. I get different pending times depending on which of their automated systems I use or which customer service person I speak to. Their personnel are rude, uninformed and completely useless. I am closing my account and never using them again!
They could at least get in touch with me about my refund. Not happy with the whole process. It said my item was delivered at my front door. It was not. I have waited 3 days never heard from seller after leaving seller several messages. Asked Paypal to step in still waiting to hear anything. All they told me (in a text)was they were also waiting to hear from seller. Not happy
Been using paypal for 6 years. Last week I sent money to help a friend living in Palestine. Next thing I know my account is suspend. And I heard that some people in Palestine got their accounts suspended too. Wow!
High commissions, poor support.

Absolutely disgusting how horrible this company is at transferring money. Friend didn't have cash app so used PayPal. NEEEVER AGAAAIN! 4 weeks. 6 phonecalls and 20$. For 400$. I'll pay 400$ to not deal with PayPal next time

It works well, the support is great. I have been a user since 2007 and have not had any negative experiences so far.
A warm recommendation.
I like the idea of having one app hold my personal data to pay various vendors, support services. And in general I have not had a lot of problems with Paypal But they are getting sloppy... I needed to contact customer service. I was on hold for approx 30 min. I know we have have issues with COVID but we cannot use it as an excuse to save money and not hire more personnel as needed. This is always the answer I get now. And I'm very tired of automated call prompts that take forever to maneuver through just to get to a person. I will gladly leave paypal and move to another service if they will guarantee better customer service and more personalized service when I have a problem
I used to be happy with Paypal before. For the last 6-7 months, every one of my payments is held for a review. I will probably stop using Paypal altogether.
For years I have stood behind Paypal as a convenient service but as everything else in 2020, they've dropped the ball. I got sent a crap product from Wish and of course as the product description wasn't accurate I wanted to send it back. The company only wanted to give me 10%, I refused. So since it couldn't be resolved directly I went through Paypal which is supposed to protect the buyer from exactly these situations. 1st they are slow in their response and coordinations. 2nd I sent the product, pictures and tracking info to Paypal and seller. To me that should be it, money returned no questions asked... I guess everyone can't be amazon though. A month later Paypal closes the case and says not enough information provided... W TF else do you need!!!

No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.

Dont send money it will be just like a gift. It's a scammer. Unless you personally know that person. PayPal can't refund a gift..
